A really *really* great Brokedown encore. A highlight of the entire tour for sure.

A Wharf Rat that convinces to the point of perfection. One of the best....period.

Playin' In The Band

A cannon into outer space; Enters uncharted territory; Reminiscent of 73' DS jams; Locked and zoned in jamming.

Dark Star

Ohio Theatre

Melodically intricate and captivating. Totally worth a listen for anybody inclined to sit down and really appreciate what's going on. Almost sounds like a jazz composition if you let the sounds blend together. Really good version.

One of the best versions my ears have heard.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 20, 1984
Philadelphia Civic Center

Grendel, thanks for pointing this one out. Really great stuff. The intro to Fire as was mentioned is indeed superb. The whole Fire for that matter is superb, and not to forget the Scarlet, a very good rendition. In all seriousness this version is massively underrated and deserves many more votes, for real.
Row Jimmy

Starts out sounding like Jerry is a little fatigued. However, he picks up the pace once delivering the solo, and the solo is good, both of them. The concluding minutes of the song are also played well. All in all I agree with your above comment, and this version is worth an upvote.
