Final time played, Pig is in fine form, acoustic set here is beautiful, entire show for that matter is transcendent stuff.

Great year for this song, no doubt, emotive, and serene. A quick ride in time, Capitol Theater 1970.

Turn On Your Love Light

Agree with all said above. Quite surprised this hadn't been posted yet. Good catch. Live/Dead is a fantastic compilation, this lovelight has a real infectious tone. Pigpen's rap is a classic, but the real reason that this version is kept in such high regard is the thunderous jamming.

A ripper for sure. This is probably one of the longest version they ever played, but they nail it. What a fucking bust out!!!!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 2, 1977
Paramount Theatre
This show is easily one of my favorites of 1977. Superb performance, and this Scarlet<Fire deserves of a spot in the all-time greats. Slinky and stealthy transition that will steal your face no matter what.
The Other One

Avalon Ballroom
They slammed the gas and never let up this show, torrent of heavy psychedelic notes.
