The Other One
Sept. 18, 1970
Fillmore East
Great version from the fall of 1970 with some intense Phil, wah usage from Jerry, and energetic jamming. Definitely underrated

How is this not already here? The last two minutes of a 31min Dark Star, has to be the fastest, most energetic rendition. Leads into Dew!

Morning Dew
Sept. 27, 1972
Stanley Theatre
I think this might be my favorite version. It's just exactly perfect, the way it builds at the end is just so smooth. Been blasting it repeated over the past few weeks
He's Gone
Nov. 17, 1972
Century II Convention Hall
This is it folks. Best one.
China Doll
May 19, 1977
Fox Theatre
Can’t believe this one is at the top. Pretty jarring tempo lag and botched verse delivery. Pass.
He's Gone
July 19, 1974
Selland Arena
@dancummins that comment cracks me up. The Englishtown 77 has the solo section, then instead of going into the bridge, they get confused and go back into the chorus, then do the solo section again before getting it right with the bridge. The Dick's Picks release edits the first solo and the erroneous chorus out. While it's definitely not a bad error (I love the solo bits), it's definitely not a perfect version either!
The Other One

Academy of Music
A bit too spacey for me although I do love that short Me & My Uncle-like jam, and the interesting chords Jerry plays around 13:30
