The Other One
Sept. 18, 1970
Fillmore East
Great version from the fall of 1970 with some intense Phil, wah usage from Jerry, and energetic jamming. Definitely underrated

Feelin' Groovy Jam
Nov. 13, 1972
Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall
How is this not already here? The last two minutes of a 31min Dark Star, has to be the fastest, most energetic rendition. Leads into Dew!

Morning Dew
Aug. 24, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre
This one rocks like Cornell but has the precision and intricacy of 1972. The peaks in this one soar like no other pre-hiatus version. Listen to that run up around 10:40! I could hear that on repeat for the rest of my life without getting bored. A tremendous version
Playin' In The Band
May 14, 1974
Adams Field House, U of Montana
All these reviews and not one mention that they completely fail to stick the landing! Great version nonetheless but I was shocked at how bad the reentry was
Wharf Rat
Oct. 20, 1974
Winterland Arena
Definitely hear some Cryptically at the very end of the Wharf Rat
Brown Eyed Women
Dec. 31, 1972
Winterland Arena
A new favorite! Love the emotion on the solo
Playin' In The Band
Oct. 14, 1977
Hofheinz Pavilion
Should be higher! A beautiful Brokedown Palace > Playin' Reprise
