The Other One
Sept. 18, 1970
Fillmore East
Great version from the fall of 1970 with some intense Phil, wah usage from Jerry, and energetic jamming. Definitely underrated

Feelin' Groovy Jam
Nov. 13, 1972
Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall
How is this not already here? The last two minutes of a 31min Dark Star, has to be the fastest, most energetic rendition. Leads into Dew!

Babbs rapping over the beginning too!
Dark Star
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds
Finally gave this one a "proper," focused listen (somehow, the last time I fully listened to this specific rendition was almost a year ago). So many themes, incredible playing, and stays pretty focused until the end, not that the meltdown and chaos of the climax is bad. After his solo (which is great), Phil attempts to lead the band into a Feelin' Groovy jam. Check out the video of the whole thing if you can!
The Other One
Nov. 17, 1972
Century II Convention Hall
Sharp and focused with one of Phil's first forays into the jazz riff that would appear all over 1973. Into Brokedown is great
Morning Dew
Nov. 13, 1972
Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall
Oh man this is a good one!
Loser
Sept. 21, 1972
The Spectrum
Sounds more charged up than a lot of other pre-hiatus versions
