The Other One
Sept. 18, 1970
Fillmore East
Great version from the fall of 1970 with some intense Phil, wah usage from Jerry, and energetic jamming. Definitely underrated

Feelin' Groovy Jam

Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall
How is this not already here? The last two minutes of a 31min Dark Star, has to be the fastest, most energetic rendition. Leads into Dew!

Another great version from the fall of 72. Can hear hints of Let It Grow from Bob following the philo stomp jam
The Other One
Sept. 30, 1972
American University
Only four votes on this is insane. This version is better than any version played post 1974. Well worth 20-something minutes of your time, and I recommend getting the full experience with the Truckin and Sing Me Back Home bookends. Some very early Phil jazz jam buried in this one, which would become a stable thematic jam in 1973
Jack Straw
July 26, 1972
Paramount Theater
Underrated rockin’ 72 version! Deserves to be higher!
Loser
April 12, 1978
Cameron Indoor Stadium
Huge fan of this song but keep my listening mostly to the 1972 and 1989/90 versions. Just stumbled onto this one during a Peggy O kick and it is a top 5 one for sure. Must listen.
Dark Star
Oct. 30, 1973
