The Wheel
Dec. 27, 1990
Coliseum Arena
Love 1990-91 "The Wheel"'s. They played it at a tempo similar to the original studio version. More urgency and intensity to it.

Barnburner, scorcher, etc. There isn't a bad Bruce-era "Jack Straw."

Sugaree

A very strong version. Bruce and Jerry seemed to always play off each other well on "Sugaree."

New Minglewood Blues

Rosemont Horizon
Killer version from a Top 5 show from 1994. Vince and Jerry are on and Bob means every word.

How this one only has six I will never know. Top 3 version along with 6/22/91 and 12/28/91.

The Pyramid
Band did right by Memphis these two nights.
Friend of the Devil
Dec. 18, 1993
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum
A great show is a great show regardless of the era and this is a GREAT show in 1993. Very strong "FOTD," much peppier than usual with Jerry making up for his ragged voice with choice guitar work and Vince is on here.
They Love Each Other
Dec. 18, 1993
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum
This version deserves some love. The acoustic tone is perfect for this seductive, playful song, giving it that slinky sound it thrives on. Maybe the best I've heard post-1991.
Stella Blue
Oct. 19, 1994
Madison Square Garden
HOLY SHIT, this version is incredible. Jerry fucking throttles the outro. Just pure power and emotion.
