Tight reading of this classic.

Not Fade Away
March 24, 1993
Dean Smith Center
Very hot version. Gets bogged down in too many bop-bops, but the mid-jam is fiery at this great 1993 show.

Black Throated Wind
May 12, 1991
Shoreline Amphitheatre
Another great 1991 version. On the new 30 Days of Dead for 2019 along with a smoking "Deal."

Morning Dew
June 26, 1994
Sam Boyd Silver Bowl
In no way does this compare to the Mount Rushmore version on 3/27/94, but a solid take with a very good finale.

The Other One
June 20, 1983
Merriweather Post Pavilion
Coming out of Bob's "Bob Star" rap. Not the leanest, meanest, longest or most jammed out version, but good in its own way and Jerry does some work.

Looks Like Rain
March 28, 1990
Nassau Coliseum
Bob's 'I Can't Stand the Rain' shrieks are hair-raisingly powerful here. Just full of force.
Sugaree
Oct. 21, 1978
Winterland Arena
Love how Bob and Jerry intertwine on this one.
Playin' In The Band
July 29, 1988
Laguna Seca Recreation Area
This version is unrelentingly insane.
Feel Like A Stranger
March 20, 1991
Capital Centre
Killer start. Every song in this show is a top shelf version.
Eyes Of The World
March 20, 1991
Capital Centre
This show needs far more love than it receives and it starts with this colossal one time only "Eyes" -> "Foolish" combo. Jerry's intro to "Eyes" is jaw droppingly pure and soulful, and not a minute of its 20 total is wasted. This is a Top 3 show of 1991.
