Beat it on Down The Line
Oct. 3, 1994
Boston Garden

"Beat It" beat it after this one. Abrupt, sloppy lead-in but the song itself is tight and enthusiastic.

Hell in a Bucket

Shoreline Amphitheatre

I was shocked not to see this one from the famous PPV solstice broadcast.

Phil's all over this one. Really urgent upbeat version.

Hell in a Bucket
Sept. 8, 1990
Coliseum

Great opener for Vince's second show. Jerry's solos are rippin' and Bob's possessed. Nice subtle work from Vinny.

Jack Straw

Springfield Civic Center

Surprised this ain't here. Lyrically perfect (another Clive ad lib from Bobby) and Jerry kills the transition jam.

Bird Song
Sept. 20, 1993
Madison Square Garden

Bird Song was done two nights later with Dave Murray.
Playin' In The Band
June 6, 1993
Giants Stadium

This should not be languishing with four votes. Playing itself is a total mess with laughably bad Bobby vocals, but the jam is an absolutely gargantuan example of the band at their latter day best. It's scary, engaging, exploratory and totally worth the listen. Can hang with 5/26/93. This is a major leaguer.
Touch of Grey
May 1, 1988
Frost Amphitheatre

Yea, this one is great. Really fired up version.
Cumberland Blues
May 27, 1993
Cal Expo

Don't sleep on this show. Everyone raves about the night before because of the major league "Playing in the Band" jam, but this show is every bit as good with a topsy turvy second set and a strong first set as well.
Wharf Rat
March 28, 1990
Nassau Coliseum

Very strong "Wharf Rat" with a nice long intro and outro.
