The Other One
Oct. 16, 1977
Louisiana State U

Short but very interesting. I supose you meant it was realesed in Road Trips Vol.1 No.2, DaP 2 is the Hatfrod show from July 74. 1977 was not the best year for Other Ones, still there are some interesting versions, 5/13 comes to mind right now, definitely the spaciest Other One from 77.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
Oct. 11, 1977
Lloyd Noble Center - University of Oklahoma

Shorter than the average but tighter too. You have to weight your pros and cons. I prefer tight, balls out jamming instead of long but sloppy jams, and this one is so hot it burns. Especially the Slipknot!, although not a moster version like others (clocks just above 4 min), they played it with an intensity never seen before. And the franklin's tower is just beautiful, as expected, they even throw a little china cat tease in there too. Definitely a top 5 in my list.
The Music Never Stopped

Clocking at 9 minutes this might be one of the longest versions. The jam starts out really spacey, but once it gets going is one of the most intense things you'll hear.

Energy packed, the band was firing on all cylinders.

The transition from NFA is one of the best things I've heard
