Stark bluesy IKYR with Pigpen backing vocals - the best.

Good version, deserves to be higher.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Sept. 20, 1970
Fillmore East
Cannot believe this one is so low. I voted for it years ago, but didn't bother to comment then. It is a classic. It needs more love.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Nov. 7, 1971
Harding Theatre
I cannot be the only deadhead for whom whenever I hear this again I have a Proustian moment. Suddenly, emotionally, the years disappear, it is the early 70's again, and I am flooded with long-forgotten emotions, hopes, and dreams. The NFA>GDTRFB segue, and the "crash" just before MAMU do it every time. Temps, but not perdu.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Aug. 13, 1975
Great American Music Hall
I have often thought that this number was a classic example of how they could produce something sub-standard, but still enjoyable, in a concert of otherwise stellar performances. Enjoyable, Yes, and a release from all that epic jamming, but a best ever version ? Never.
Bertha
Aug. 6, 1971
Hollywood Palladium
Second that. The AUD is ripping. Bertha, Mr Charlie, Me and Bobby McGee, Hard to Handle, Casey Jones, St Stepheen, TOO > Me and My Uncle ... So many highlights. One of my top all time fav concerts, and the only AUD in that list
