Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Sept. 3, 1977
Raceway Park

This show doesn't do it for me either. They seem tired, playing well, but not putting the kitchen sink into it as they sometimes do. The recording ain't great either.
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Sept. 21, 1972
The Spectrum

Magic NFA>GDTRFB from a great concert, and a good soundboard too. Back in the early/mid 70's Skull and Roses and Makebelieve Ballroom were my two prized possessions, and rare items this side of the Atlantic, and thus for me GDTRFB has to have a beautiful segue and an exquisite first appearance of the melody from Jerry. They nail it here. IMO, they fluff it at Austin.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Sept. 21, 1972
The Spectrum

Great harmonies, considering Pigpen was no longer with them. Good version. However the archive version seems to have tape speed problems. In a couple of places it goes faster for half-a-second or so. Otherwise superb.
Ship of Fools
May 4, 1977
The Palladium

Is this the right date ?
Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication
June 14, 1976
Beacon Theatre

Top version, goes really well with Crazy Fingers from the same concert.
