Good version in an epic concert. One of the best bits of the first set. Second set is cosmic 73 stuff.

Wharf Rat
Feb. 5, 1978
Uni Dome, U of Northern Iowa

This needs more votes. It is easily the best post-74 Wharf Rat. Perhaps the reason it is so low is that it does not display on the Wharf Rat page. Why is that ?

Finally got my "Get Shown the Light" box set. Took a long time to come from USA. I have some sympathy for people who think this overblown, goes on too long, and is a dead horse being flogged. That is what the Betty board sounded like to me. So, two days later, I played my old Jerry Moore matrix. Mind Blowing. This is the best. Listen to the Jerry Moore matrix, and forget the Betty board.

The Spectrum

Needs more love. This is where they hit the NFA>GDTRFB transition in the sweet spot. Cast your mind back to when you first tripped to the Dead. It was SugarMag, MAMU, NFA>GDTRFB. Recapture some of the magic of youth. Give it a listen.
Mountains of the Moon

Dream Bowl

I agree. One of my all time favourites.
