The 2-28-69 always seems to rank higher than 2-27, probably because it's longer. I like to listen to 2-27 then follow it up with the last set of 2-28 beginning with Alligator. That to me is the ultimate '69 show.

In general I like the early, original-tempo FOTDs better than the slowish later ones. But this one is amazing, with Jerry's soloing at its best and Keith's tinklings particular on the money.
