Providence Civic Center

Hardly a classic, but surprisingly not listed despite being on 30 Days 2013

This isn't on here? From this show? Pretty memorable version.

Caps off one of the most ballad-heavy shows in the band's history.

A nice contrast to all the ballads from this show.

Especially nice and up-tempo following a delicate portion of the show.

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Manor Downs

Really good Fire which is a little dark in places, ok Scarlet and a transition jam that never quite manages to build up any steam. Another like it, don't love it version for me.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Sept. 2, 1978
Giants Stadium

I'm hard-pressed to think of a version that grooves tighter than this. Doesn't drag anywhere. Agree that this is right there with Cedar Falls for best of the year, though I would add Jacksonville on 4/8 as another contender.

Forum Theater

A must-hear for any Brent fan. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 3, 1979
Uptown Theatre

Ok version; it's most interesting element to me is the heavy-rhythm transition jam. Brent also adds some nice coloring. Still, this one didn't exactly blow my mind. 12/30/79 is a better choice from this era, which I generally really enjoy.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain

Montego Bay Freeport Zone

Solid showing all around, but Brent's work, especially on the transition jam, warrants an upvote. Works kind of a spooky, robotic vibe. This is only 16 minutes long but still feels complete.
