Dark Star crashes...this has the best example of the musical expression of that line. You can literally hear the star traverse through space and time and come to a thud...crash. Then exploration time. Feeling Groovy jam to boot. This is an all time classic. A must have Dark Star.

What else needs to be stated? It’s everything that one could ever want in a Dark Star. BTW...9/17/72 Other One is the companion of this one. So much sickness going on...but there are parts that rival each other a lot!

Oh yeah!!! Oh my goodness... I can’t believe I actually forgot about this one! Finally revisited this after a long time and all i can say is WOW!!! It’s better than I remembered! The tiger segment may contain the fastest notes you’ll ever hear Jerry play. Absolutely sick. Lightning. Just unreal. The tiger from 9/17/72 may be the longest and possibly the most astonishing ever done, but this one is beyond fast. To know that the tiger is made up of individual notes that he picks is unbelievable. My guitar knowledgeable friend thought he was doing another technique, but when I showed him Sunshine Daydream (8.27.72), and he saw how he was actually doing it, his jaw dropped to the floor. This tiger is way faster than 8.27, which is saying a lot. Definitely Top 5 material. Wooosh vrooom!!!
