A rare and different tune. Real nice transition into epic Playin-UJB from Go to Nassau...

Stunned this ain't here yet. Next night is a famous one. But this 2nd set opener is strong and rugged. Nice moment at "born to be a bachelor..."

Truckin'

Wow! Can't believe this hasn't made the cut yet. Rips and roars out of poignant China Doll. Almost become a Smokestack... Super strong show!

Dark Star

Carousel Ballroom
DeadBase calls it a Dark Star Jam. There is not much of a hint of a Dark Star-ish melody, and the date is debatable. But everyone needs to hear this!!

Fierce and Fiery!!! Like most great Dews, we wish this one would never end. Digs deep in the end. First big solo too……

Scorching, insane coda!!!! Last time I saw them with Brent was a few nights earlier, 7/14…… wish I was at this one…..
I Know You Rider
March 31, 1973
War Memorial
No China!! I was fortunate to see the Boys pull off a Half-Step-Rider in '85. It was a bit clunky, though ridiculously fun. This is not clunky. This is a thing of beauty, with a Groovy Jam to boot!! Jerry roars his wishes!!! Entire sequence beyond classic!!!
They Love Each Other

Fast and fluid!! Jerry's guitar is a thing of beauty!!!
