Builds rightly. A little sloppy, but what wasn't in 1989? Still tremendous...

Eyes Of The World

Yep! Definitely deserves to be top 25 and….. wait a second!!! It ain’t even close to top 60?!? I guess it goes to show, these guys are pretty good, and there a lot of tremendously powerful Eyes out there…. Still….. this has wonderful interplay between Jerry and the gang, Bobby really awesome, Rhythm Devils right on, Phil and Keith doing their amazing thing as we roll from an excellent Estimated through a vibrant Eyes into one of the first ever official Drums/Space and….. !! A bit like some of the more fiery Eyes from the autumn of 77……

EPIC. EPIC. EPIC. This sequence, done perfectly from time to time, is one of those things that makes the Good ‘Ol Grateful Dead the finest band in the land. When the gorgeous Dew segues seamlessly back into UJB, then finds its way back to that Playin’……it’s as epic as any piece of music ever recorded, as powerful as anything Mozart, Beethoven, whatever, whoever, ever composed! I kid you not at all! And…. Epic is not a word to be used lightly!!!

Seriously! This is so amazingly just about exactly right! I totally forgot I wrote comment here already, came here to write about how we have a lot of versions way over 100 points, etc. Then realized I didn’t even vote for this one!! LOL!

A tsunami from a ghostly symphony!!! It surges, ebbs and flows. The transition is phenomenal. The whole shebang is brilliant!!
