I love what Phil does on this one. This thing is short and sweet.

Weather Report Suite
Dec. 18, 1973
Curtis Hixon Convention Hall

Great version from a very good overall show.
Playin' In The Band
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

Depending on a number of variables, there may be versions as good, but there are certainly none better. I love this playing over the opening scenes of the film 'Sunshine Daydream'. Let's hope we get Veneta released a la 'Crimson White & Indigo'.
Eyes Of The World
May 21, 1974
Edmundson Pavilion

Phil!!! This and 7/31/74 are maybe THE two MONSTER Phil versions of this tune.
Big River
July 31, 1974
Dillon Stadium

The more I hear this one the better it seems to get.
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Nov. 18, 1972
Hofheinz Pavilion

The song was just emerging from the primordial slime at this point and so it is not as pleasantly plump as it would be by, say, 1977, but Jerry really sounds like a sweet Georgia peach on that solo in between the Rio Grandee choruses.
