This is worth 18 minutes of your life.

Perhaps its uniqueness prevents it from EPIC status but listen to how obtuse this thing is.

Dark Star

San Antonio Civic Auditorium

Something for everyone here: lush aural quiltwork, bass solo, and a 'Feelin' Groovy' segment which is followed by tight abstractions

Both more nuanced and multi-textured than your typical PITB jam. Great stuff!!!

They Love Each Other
Nov. 9, 1979
Memorial Auditorium

Sweet! I love the sound of that young Tiger. Lacey and dreamy solo with enough oomph, here and there, for contrast. Very nice rendition overall. Be sure to check out 4/16/78 for another version which features thrilling exploits on high-tension wires.
Ramble On Rose
July 3, 1978
St. Paul Civic Center Arena

Yup, impassioned vocals and a nice solo that rambles wonderfully through the changes.
Terrapin Station
Dec. 28, 1979
Oakland Auditorium

Fantastic and undeservedly overlooked.
The Other One

Darkstar67: I haven't yet listened to this show! It's one of those that, like a special wine or some good bud, I'm saving for later. And it does have some company in certain other legendary shows that I'm sitting on, as well. Something to wonder about and look forward to! Anyway, it's good to see that it has yet another feather in its cap in the form of a big NFA, as the NFA from 4/22/78 is one of my personal favorites.
