You'll hear voices and see faces in this abstract assault which showcases exceptional group interplay. Bertrando's AUD is VG+.

I always thought that Summer '74 was the best period for this tune but this version is sick.

Check that. I like pretty much all of Jerry's first solo. Maybe not necessarily clean execution, but pretty damn clear conveyance. As for the later musclechords, not so sure.

At even the minimum necessary volume, the tone of the young 'Tiger' on the solo pierces through the skull like the bite of a jaguar. Edit: ...although I find that maybe it's best when taken at a volume that is wincingly loud.

Well, Dave really put out a winner with this previously uncirculated Set II SBD. I gotta say, though, that I'm a little surprised that this Eyes hasn't gotten more attention, as it is quite good and has all the elements that are the hallmark of top-notch post-hiatus Keith-on-keys Eyes: nice intro, two good Jerry main leads, and a nice outro that dissolves like a glob of fine, clean resin into the next segment of the set. Oh yeah, and boy does Jerry come in raging on his second solo! I may even go so far as to say that this Eyes is knockin' on the door of my top 5 post-hiatus Keith versions, if it's not already in there.

I do like some of what Jerry does on his first solo and fans of Bob's slide work might even get some goosebumps from this version. This version will probably keep revealing little goodies with future listenings.

I do like the version from 4/24/78 but I haven't listened to it in quite some time. How superior is it to this one? I'll have to go back and check at some point. After recently giving this one some spins, however, I would say that it is more accomplished than its current number of votes (6 at the time of writing) would suggest.
