If Picasso's 'Guernica' had a small cut in it it would still be a masterpiece. This TOO has a bad cut in the recording but is still a masterpiece. A+

This is heady but it's now believed to have occurred on 5-11-69 in San Diego.

A highly edited but well-worth-your-time video of this kickass performance is now up on youtube.

Jerry's singing and electrified Keith make this one heady.

Plenty happening on this one to warrant a listen. Nice segue into 'Drums'.

Woops! Sorry, CC--I meant to say 12/15/72.

I haven't listened to it in a while but, if I remember right, 12/10/72 Long Beach has also got a long red carpet rolled out for DS.

I should also say that there is no IKYR here, as is sometimes erroneously listed.

Apparently, they also played TIFTOO and Dancin' in the Streets (among, obviously, others) at this long show. And by most accounts they blew the lid off the place. The boys sure did have a thing for Wisconsin! Check out these links... And that pocket sure is deep! I always loved Bobby urging everyone to get up and shake it as Jerry comes in with authority for the big jam. Also, the way they play the 'Tighten' Up' jam in this one is, as I remember (been a few moons since I heard this one), quite different than say, 6/24/70 or 10/31/71--less ecstatic and more angular? Great stuff!
