Extremely tight version. Jerry's voice is really good. This song makes me happy

Playin' In The Band

Underrated show most of all. but this Playin' is insanely good, just before Veneta and pretty similar, I almost like it better :o

Truckin'

Berkeley Community Theatre

Truckin -> Drums -> The Other One -> Stella Blue. Rippin' truckin' here, they're just trucking along, high voltage summer '72 style, classic stuff.

Playin' In The Band

Gnarly and dank at the same time, this one is sick for sure, as are pretty much all euro72 playins
The Other One

"out of the cosmos" sums this up perfectly, it's like the dead's 2001: space odyssey haha
The Other One

Olympia Theater

After re-listening to a few other one's from the Europe '72 tour, this one stands out as the best for me. The sandwiched Me and Bobby McGee just enhances this. I love the debate between Phil and the rest of that takes place in here. God, this has some amazing moments

Fair enough sir, carry on! :D Nobody should be baggin' on anyone for diggin' the dead now that I think about it.
Truckin'
Aug. 24, 1972
Berkeley Community Theatre

No problem man! I'll never skip a Truckin', and I completely agree, most people pair Truckin' as the quintessential dead tune if there was one to choose. Which I think the song although finished in 1970, continued to represent the way the band worked, going with the flow. Whatever happened, happened. No complaints, just keep on moving. Think thats the huge spirit of the dead, think that's whats kept this stuff alive, apart from it being so damn amazing. Love the monster Truckin' would become in '77 & '78, but man o' man, I just love 1972. Everything is so silky smooth and amazing. This show is exceptionally good. Check the Morning Dew from this show too!
