They Love Each Other

This is a CRAZY, trippy version! Jerry is INCREDIBLE on this one...so much so that some of the band loses it's place and somehow makes it work.

Particularly smoking version, everyone is firing on all cylinders, Bobby's vocal is great, Brent is fantastic, Jerry, Bob, Phil, etc...

Fun little solo from Jerry (though the band just narrowly averts a train wreck when they the band and Jerry have different ideas when the chord changes....a very fleeting moment thankfully). But nice little version.

It seems like most of the versions I've heard of this song (so far) are out of tune for some reason.....this version is particularly out of tune! So I'm going to dissent. Jerry's voice isnt particularly strong on it either, Bucknell University (the next day, he sings better, and is a more together version)
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower

Beacon Theatre

Beautiful, spacey, relaxed and confident. Not the mess it can sometimes be (understandably so.....there's alot of marks to hit!). I love '76, and I particularly love '76 Help->Slipknots. This one is distinctive, unusual....like for instance the Jerry/drummers/Phil section? The audience is going nuts....understandably so! Drummers highly creative, Phil at his funkiest and most sublime.....the vocals are together, the lyrics at about 98% I think, not bad, Jer. :D

Wow. Just heard it for the first time moments ago.....rushed right here to vote. Very distinctive version. Totally "Europe '72", and I didn't realize until I saw the above comment that this was the only version on the whole tour. This could have EASILY made the album.

This is a perfect version, and the mix is fantastic as well. It is completely relaxed, in the pocket, every member delivering the goods. Solid. This is a solid version. How they could let this song fall out of the repertoire has always mystified me. Definitely not to be missed; if this isn't THE greatest version, it definitely is in the top three. I agree that the Port Chester version out of Not Fade Away is the greatest....but it's an audience tape, great as it is. This version has a perfect mix, a releasable mix, so that definitely has something going for it.
