The Other One
Oct. 19, 1972
Fox Theatre

Two huge swells in this one. The first is a very funk jam led by Keith and Billy. The next involves a manic peak by Jerry. Worth checking out

He's Gone
Dec. 15, 1972
Long Beach Arena

This jam is a patient wave of energy that hits a progressive peak, then dissipates as cautiously as it grew

Greatest Story Ever Told
Dec. 15, 1972
Long Beach Arena

Jam starts fairly mellow, then Jerry vaults it into noodley hyperspace

He's Gone

Winterland Arena

Incredibly delicate version. Garcia very much in the forefront

You Win Again

Winterland Arena

Jerry calls for Keith to solo and he owns it. Great vocals by Jerry and Pig kills on backing organ

The Spectrum

Really dig the 1-2 min jam into Playin’. Some interesting stuff going on
Eyes Of The World
July 14, 1990
Foxboro Stadium

Great eyes. Phil and Jerry driving hard in 2nd to last jam so nicely, both throwing down their lines and gelling.
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl
Feb. 11, 1969
Fillmore East

Def short, but serious bouncy blues. Pig in fine form
Dancin' in the Streets
Dec. 31, 1971
Winterland Arena

Blasts off new years celebrations right out of the gate! The only version played in '71 and last one until '76. Smoldering energy
Uncle John's Band
May 19, 1977
Fox Theatre

My favorite out of the spring '77 shows and top 3 for me all time. Dusted this off today and it's like putting on an old sweater that fits just exactly perfect. Awesome segue in from a dream-like PITB, and the final several min are just full band locked in power. Looove this show
