darkstar67 you read my mind! The 8/6/71 Lovelight is unhinged Phil and Jerry at their Jammiest, Pigpen at his nastiest, paired with some excellent screams from Bobby towards the end I mean EVERYTHING that you could want is in this version. Phil's solos towards the beginning are what acid was made for. My dad has been looking for good AUD of the Alman Brothers shows they played with the dead in I believe the early '70's. Any idea where I could get my paws on those? From one deadhead to another, stay grateful!

HOW WAS THIS NOT ON HERE? Coming out of a 30+ minute dark star, Jerry is HOT. These solos are face melting I am so surprised this version wasn't on here, let alone didn't have any votes. A little feedback in the first part, but Bobby always gets me when he yells "SAY WHAT" before the Sunshine Dayream sequence.

Oh yeah darkstar67, this is THE best good lovin. There are a few from the Europe '72 tour that I'm very fond of as well, but none of them are as good as this one. This song got my friend hooked on the dead, and he used to listen to rap and radio music. Glad I showed him the way haha.
