Me and My Uncle
April 8, 1978
Veterans Memorial Coliseum
Jerry slays this laid-back (yet still kickin') version. Sweet stuff here, into a strong Big River.

Just a blistering drum beat to propel this one! Good stuff!

Are there better versions out there? Undoubtedly! But this is still worthy of an entry. Some nice, tinkling piano.

Standing On The Moon
Aug. 21, 1993
Autzen Stadium - University of Oregon
'Tis a great and powerful ending to this Standing On the Moon, which clearly lifts it to the upper echelon of versions. But it's sort of a tough slog for the first 6+ minutes. To me, the rhythm is just...off; It sounds as if they're just about to nod off to sleep. If that were true, though, such sweet dreams they'd likely have with the song's ending providing the soundtrack!

This is just such a sweet, delicate performance of this song. Oh how I love it.

Slow burn, but a powerful, fiery explosion at the end.
