The Beam!!! Downright scary, feels like I'm on acid when I listen...

Its All Over Now

Madison Square Garden

This one rips!!! The point where the show really takes off. Even Vince gets in a great "organ" solo.

Towards the end of Jerry's last solo he rips into a second go around - blazing!

The Music Never Stopped

Broome County Arena

the middle section jam is longer than in versions from May '77 but the ending is still smokin'! Might be my fave version from 1977.
Brown Eyed Women
Dec. 27, 1977
Winterland Arena

Some people like mellow, laid-back Dead. I like aggressive passionate hard rocking Dead. This Brown Eyed Women is the later, freaking awesome! Love the squeals Jerry is getting out of his guitar, a great stinging tone and intense soloing, brilliant!
High Time
May 16, 1980
Nassau Coliseum

This version is on the official release Go To Nassau and the sound quality is superb. Fantastic vocals on this one and solidly played. All of that combined make this a go-to version! :)
Candyman
Oct. 3, 1987
Shoreline Amphitheatre

Jerry's "underwater" guitar effect on the solo sounds fantastic and the whole band is really driving it, drummers are pounding away, sweet vocals, very strong all around.
Bird Song

Greek Theatre - University of California

Brent and Jerry are really playing off one another on this version, well, Phil and Bobby and drummers are, too, its a really nice ensemble version, deliberate and energetic wandering in this tasty jam!
