Love these '70 & earlier Minglewoods. I love the way Bobby screams the lyrics. They sound like a punk/grunge garage band. Later versions too tame

Incredible ‘70 Minglewood. Early Minglewoods have incredible energy and aggression. Much better than later versions IMHO, but rough on Bobby’s vocal cords when done in this style. I see why they slowed it down to a more laid back groove & delivery.

Jerry's solo shreds, his voice fits the lyrics perfectly, Hornsby's fills are beautiful and Phil's bass is way up front. Should be higher! Great late Stella.

It's hard to find a great version of Liberty because of what was going on with Jerry at this time, but this is a real nice version. I like this song. It's a grower.
