Ripple
June 5, 1982
Oregon State Penitentiary
Gotta love the story behind this though. Some deadheads get busted so Jerry along with his bass buddy John Kahn go play it. So the story goes.
The Other One
July 8, 1978
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
I like to play and replay Phil's bass lead a few before I launch into the thing.
Rubin and Cherise
April 7, 1991
Orlando Arena
I thought this was better then Buckeye. Jerry's guitar is much crisper and cleaner. This version is more about Jerry. Maybe that's why he played it almost exclusively with JGB and solo with Kahn.
Shakedown Street
April 26, 1983
The Spectrum
Starting to realize the best shakedowns are early mid 80's. So much energy. Jerry, Brent, Bobby all vocally on point on this and of course Jerry trading with Brent. Not as much as others cause you could tell Jerry what's this one. But Brent still chiming in.
Wharf Rat
June 20, 1983
Merriweather Post Pavilion
If the thunder don't get you then Phil will.
