Hands down the best FOTD I ever saw. Garcia's playing is intricate, beautiful, and stunning.

This is right up there in energy with MSG 9/18/87 (without LaBamba, of course). This one blew the top off of any other due I ever saw.
Uncle John's Band

Alpine Valley Music Theatre
This was the sweetest UJB I ever saw. The 2nd set of this show was all Jerry, and I could tell a short time into his intro this was going to be a special one. To have it on video after all these years is a very special treat.

Surprise selection but yes, this is a nice and crisp selection. We used to call this place the Met Echo Chamber due to it's terrible acoustics, and tin roof, but the Grateful Dead were the only band I ever saw there to use the acoustics to their advantage.

Very intense and incredible friction and energy. Fantastic !!!
Looks Like Rain

Alpine Valley Music Theatre
As a guy stated above, this is a pearl among the sludge. The show as a whole was ho-hum with not a lot of energy, but they tore it up on Looks Like Rain.
