Terrapin Station
Nov. 6, 1979
The Spectrum
Like floating in a hypnopompic dream. This Terrapin is so ethereal, you might be able to touch the clouds.

Samson and Delilah

The Sportatorium
Mickey and Billy are the catalyst and engine throughout. Joyful and tight drumming propel this version.

Brokedown Palace
May 18, 1977
Fox Theatre
This is a perfect version of Brokedown. Vocals are completely aligned and Jerry is incredibly soulful. But Keith is the glue to the entire piece. His keys are delicate and precise, binding the vocals with the rhythm section.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 24, 1978
Horton Field House - Illinois State University
While Barton and 2/5/78 are my two favorite versions, this isn't far behind. The Scarlet Begonias here is more potent and playful than either of the other two shows. Mickey and Billy compliment Jerry so well during the segue to Fire.
