The Music Never Stopped

Truly proves there was some magic on every tour. The outro jam is unreal hot, with Jerry, Vince, and Bruce battling it out. Crazy stuff here!

Jerry gets really into it in the second half. Not lifechanging, but fun

Excellent, hard-charging version from arguably the best show of 87. Bobby stuttering all over the verses

Very solid version. Video shows Jerry present and very into it.

They Love Each Other
Sept. 10, 1993
Richfield Coliseum

Jerry doesn't forget a lyric, his solos are fantastic - hes poppin strings with that new acoustic tone! Clearly very happy to be playing this (rare, at this point) tune. Vince gets some nice keys in. Both versions that Jerry played on Bolt in 93 (this one and 12/18) are very hot, but I think this one is better because Jerry’s voice is strong, especially compared to 12/18.
Uncle John's Band

Richfield Coliseum

Long and gooey, really great version and Jerry's acoustic tone is fantastic. The out jam just never stops. They really started taking UJB out to space again in 93. Other cool versions like this one include 12/8/93, 12/18/93, 2/27/94 (GOAT VERSION!!), 3/27/94, 10/5/94, 11/29/94, and 3/18/95.
Feel Like A Stranger

Extremely powerful, just like the rest of the show. Audience tapes really bring out the intensity and volume of Jerry's guitar on this one - it fills the room and shakes you around! DANK version
Shakedown Street

The Pyramid

GREAT version, inspired and strongly played. The only issue I have with hot 95 jams (and yes, there are some) is that you can clearly hear what Jerry wishes he could play, and is trying to play, but he just can't. Overall though - fantastic, fun, and powerful out jam.

Thanks for the kind words DS - there's a lot of wonderful music in the Vince years. This Visions of course is THE version. Fantastic show overall too, best Iko of all time and a great first set. If you like Visions, try 3/30/95 as well, and if you like this show, try 2/21, 4/1, 4/2, and 4/5!
