Surprisingly good. Nice rave-up at the end, and Jerry's fills throughout are genuinely great.

Spacey, atonal version. Shows where they were headed in 95 - a lot of interesting sounds.

Cool version that Jerry starts and the band jumps on while Bob works out some gear issues. Last one ever, first in years, and only electric version.

Very powerful vocals from Jerry. Beyond intense "I guess it doesn't matter anyway"

Last version. Not perfect, but especially soulful. There's a nice new video up on youtube and jerry's very animated.

Love this version, even though they all suck (sorry!) - truly amazing energy at these MSG shows in 83. Cosmic

Cool version. Very mediocre verses and mid solo without the characteristic-for-the-era speedy playing that Jerry usually played there - but they more than make up for it in the outro. That's one of my favorite things about this band - if they fucked up a verse, or a song, or a show, or even a whole tour, they never failed to recognize that they'd let the audience down a little, and they'd always come back stronger. See: shitty summer tour 94 followed by amazing fall tour 94.

Great solo, Jerry came to play on this night!

bcarter - I would kill to hear what they would have done to an estimated at this show too, but I think part of the magic is the sparseness (song-wise) of the second set. The meat of the second set is really only a couple songs, and yet they're so unbelievably well executed that there isn't a show around that can really compete with this one.

Cheers, darkstar. Couldn't agree more. You can find something different in each listen, and isn't that what it's all about? Give the second set from 3/21 a listen if you liked this. Hope to see you in that discussion!
