The Music Never Stopped

Truly proves there was some magic on every tour. The outro jam is unreal hot, with Jerry, Vince, and Bruce battling it out. Crazy stuff here!

Jerry gets really into it in the second half. Not lifechanging, but fun

Roanoke Civic Center

Excellent, hard-charging version from arguably the best show of 87. Bobby stuttering all over the verses

Very solid version. Video shows Jerry present and very into it.

Me and My Uncle
Oct. 1, 1994
Boston Garden

This song almost begs for Bob's real cowboy voice from 70-74 or so, but his voice doesn't throw me off enough not to upvote such a great full band effort. Vince's keys on this MAMU>BR are HOT!

Gotta hand it to the band as a whole, they were TIGHT in 94. I mean, Jerry meant they had to be, and it's clear that by the summer of 1994, minus Jerry, they were playing cohesively probably better than ever. Add a competent and present Jerry to that mix, as happened on Fall Tour 94, and you've got a potent fucking band.
Bird Song
May 21, 1992
Cal Expo

Everyone who likes Bird Song should hear this one (unless you can't handle Vince)! Lovely out there space jamming in the first half with really punchy dissonant playing from Phil, and in the second half Jerry explores several variations on the classic late 80s and 90s strumming theme. Really great stuff here folks
That Would Be Something

Shoreline Amphitheatre

Truly awesome playing from Jerry and the drummers (and Vince!) - locked in groovy version
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Aug. 21, 1993
Autzen Stadium - University of Oregon

This version should certainly also be higher - awesome, very bluegrassy flatpicking from Jerry, especially on Rider - his acoustic tone he introduced at this show works perfectly and he takes advantage.
