Truly proves there was some magic on every tour. The outro jam is unreal hot, with Jerry, Vince, and Bruce battling it out. Crazy stuff here!

Jerry gets really into it in the second half. Not lifechanging, but fun

Excellent, hard-charging version from arguably the best show of 87. Bobby stuttering all over the verses

Very solid version. Video shows Jerry present and very into it.

First tours with a new keyboardist were always the best - fall 71, fall 79, fall 90.... these shows have a looseness and mellowness about them that’s fantastic and that the Brent era dead never got back

Thx, Darkstar - always shocking to me that there are such gorgeous unsung versions languishing in the single digits. Says a lot about the beauty of this band, huh. This fall tour has some seriously fantastic renditions - try 9/2, 11/1 or 11/30 if you haven't. No better time for Terrapin than this tour IMO

More delicate perhaps than the other versions, this one has a beauty all its own

Love this one. A little slower and mellower than most of the 77 versions, which to my ears makes it far superior. Generally, 77-80 electric Dire Wolves are too intense for my taste - I prefer the 74 versions or even the mid-80s versions - at least Jerry's tone isn't so damn tinny on those ones. This one is awesome, though.

Absolutely gorgeous extended mid jam that gets briefly very spacey. Special and kind version
