Spacey, LONG, jam. There's a video, and you can see Bob smiling as Jerry somehow nails the last climax of the jam and they slam into the chorus.

Always been, and always will be, my favorite version. Sublime mid and outro solos. the mid-80s version are all fantastic, but 11/1/85 can't hold a candle to the solos on this one IMO.

Usually I have a hard time with the brightness that wolf brought in 78. But this version is beyond belief and it’s thanks to the extra sparkle that Jerry adds to the verses and solos with Wolf’s tone. This is the most perfectly conceived version I’ve ever heard. Of course, Donna gets credit too - her harmonies are GORGEOUS.

I find myself coming back to this one a lot. I reiterate that Jerry’s vocals on this track are beyond belief. Nice playing but this is a time when Jerry was more and more often using his voice as his main instrument, especially on his ballads. Unreal. Seriously. Pop on an AUD and let this one put you there in the room.

Absolutely unbelievable transition into Iko, I jumped up and down the first time I heard it. Rest of the Iko is solid and enjoyable. I always felt like this is one of the few songs that benefited from having as many musicians on stage as possible.
