Jack Straw
Dec. 10, 1989
Meadowlands Arena

Jack Straw -> China -> Rider in 1989. Great buildup to final verse into a classic combo. Bruce Hornsby adds an extra layer, the stuff of dreams

Sugar Magnolia
May 9, 1979
Broome County Arena

After a killer Wharf Rat, the boys false-start Around and Around three times before ripping into this great Sugar Mag. Who ever needed a face anyway?

Saint of Circumstance
July 8, 1995
Soldier Field

A triumphant, and surprisingly well-played version, given the date. Sure don't know...

Truckin'
July 9, 1989
Giants Stadium

Real heady summer '89 Truckin', great vocals and powerful playing, what else to say except hot!

Desolation Row
Sept. 18, 1990
Madison Square Garden

One of the best, strong delivery from Bobby, great guitar work from both

Throwing Stones
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

Insane version, 10/10/82 might just be may favorite overall show, but this version kicks the shit outta it, similar intense early style jam with Jerry going insane, not to be missed. Forgot to also mention the false Sugar Mag transition into Touch, really a treat!
Black Throated Wind
Oct. 19, 1974
Winterland Arena

Personal favorite, exceptional recording, and spectacular performance, Bobby's ending is epic, turned me on to this song
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Feb. 3, 1978
Dane County Coliseum

this ain't it chief 2/5/78 is what you're looking for
Greatest Story Ever Told
Sept. 28, 1972
Stanley Theatre

Never liked this song but my brain is absolutely melted, and face completely stolen. One of a kind, hot hot hot!
Baba O'Riley > Tomorrow Never Knows
June 20, 1992
RFK Stadium

As Tomorrow Never Knows comes to a close, someone, I believe Phil, can be heard twice saying "Same as it ever was," referencing Once In A Lifetime. AMAZING to think about the Dead covering Talking Heads.
