Jack Straw
Dec. 10, 1989
Meadowlands Arena

Jack Straw -> China -> Rider in 1989. Great buildup to final verse into a classic combo. Bruce Hornsby adds an extra layer, the stuff of dreams

Sugar Magnolia
May 9, 1979
Broome County Arena

After a killer Wharf Rat, the boys false-start Around and Around three times before ripping into this great Sugar Mag. Who ever needed a face anyway?

Saint of Circumstance
July 8, 1995
Soldier Field

A triumphant, and surprisingly well-played version, given the date. Sure don't know...

Truckin'
July 9, 1989
Giants Stadium

Real heady summer '89 Truckin', great vocals and powerful playing, what else to say except hot!

Desolation Row
Sept. 18, 1990
Madison Square Garden

One of the best, strong delivery from Bobby, great guitar work from both

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Oct. 31, 1979
Nassau Coliseum

One of a kind. Noticed the oddness and had to restart the Rider. Bobby takes the wild geese verse, then is joined by Brent and Jerry in the Sun Will Shine verse, and Jerry takes his headlight verse. Love the evolution of this song.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
July 9, 1989
Giants Stadium

Real sleeper here. Certainly not the best but the energy from the summer of '89 is very clear here. Great vocals despite a minor flub, but Bobby and Jerry nail their verses in Rider, similar to Alpine a few nights later. Love this one.
Morning Dew
March 25, 1993
Dean Smith Center - University of North Carolina

Much better than a usual 90's Dew. Very light percussion in the first verse, this one really builds up!
So Many Roads
Feb. 21, 1992
Club Front Studio

Really cool studio sessions. Interesting to hear Vince and Jerry yell So Many Roads! with each other,
Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again
July 13, 1989
RFK Stadium

One of my favorites, like Desolation Row, this song always seems to succeed when Jerry backs up Bobby on vocals!
