This is an incredible, unique, fast-paced version. Bob's singing is superb and Phil's bass playing is lickety-split in the best possible way.

Incredibly high-octane version from a great show!

No longer poor sound (on the DaP 46 Bonus disc). Fabulous version, real chirping bird sounds from Jerry's great solo.

From the DaP 46 Bonus disc--one of the first versions to include the Rio Grandee-o coda, played really tight and with a toodleoo spirit.

Just listened for the first time on the new HCS box. As y'all have said: stunning. How does Jerry get his guitar to sound like a theramin (early on)?

Agree with all the comments already offered. Try to listen to the new Here Comes Sunshine Box version--the sound is extraordinary. Two things to note: Keith plays along with the guitarists in such a way as to mimic the jangly Roger McGuinn sound (no one is playing a twelve string!) and the Rider part of the transition is perhaps the most steadying, centering music anyone has ever played! The Dead takes care of you!
