Two Souls in Communion

Concertgebouw
Heartbreaking song, enthusiastically and sensitively sung and played. Maybe not the perfect version, with some out of tune guitar on this? But such a wonderful song, so underrated, and they go for it.
Me and Bobby McGee

Concertgebouw
Sweet and swinging, no mistakes, lovely solo, all over the neck. Sounds like they felt it that time. Europe '72 full of these moments - strong, in synch, passionate
Me and My Uncle
May 10, 1972
Concertgebouw
Bob says: "As the sun sinks slowly in the west, we're going to do a song about the great American West..." Then, Phil and Jerry just kill it, egged on by Bill.
Bertha

Concertgebouw
Jerry dropped some words here and there. Very smooth and clean, though. True about the jam - Jerry on fire, quietly.
Big Railroad Blues
May 23, 1972
Strand Lyceum
Picks up momentum as it goes, 1st solo has some cool rooting around by Jerry, & in the 2nd solo around 2:35 I could swear the band starts planing - achieves lift off - for a few seconds - nice!!!!!! Such a fine period, so sweet hear the energy and synch here.
