Jan. 30, 1978
Uptown Theater
This one has guts and a real slow percussive groove. Love it.

Sugar Magnolia

Golden Hall, Community Concourse
Ends a wonderful sequence (Terrapin -> Playin' -> Drums-> Lost Sailor-> Saint-> Wharf Rat) Jerry's definitely still feeling it in his solos; solid

Slow and stoney, great show and crystal-clear board to boot

Smoking hot, as many of the Big River's are after the hiatus. Check them all out.

Cotterell Gym - Colgate University
Goes on and on; serious vocals; superb in every way
Pretty Peggy O
April 14, 1978
Cassell Coliseum - Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
Nice version, but Jerry's voice here is just shot. A shame, cuz the band is really dialed in.

Orpheum Theatre
Silky . . . Jerry strikes a great tone in the solo with the Travis Bean -- love it!
Brown Eyed Women
March 20, 1977
Winterland Arena
Great energy, Jerry is really up and the boys work together magically throughout this tune like much of this run.

Winterland Arena
Jerry gets the words wrong a bit at the beginning, but this is my go-to Peggy-O -- the band is connected, Jerry has a lovely solo, and the groove is just perfect. Later in the set is a Row Jimmy for all-time as well. Great show.
