Lyrically precise, energetic playing, and everyone sounds like they're enjoying themselves. What more could you ask for on this one?

The shorter versions need love to, and this one hits all the sweet spots.

The Other One
Oct. 14, 1983
Hartford Civic Center

I think the modified Spanish Jam (aka Spinach Jam) here features enough Other One quotes to make it uniquely jammed intro to the song itself.

Upvoted for the way Jerry gives us an absolutely killer apology solo to make up for Bob's slide catastrophe.
Playin' In The Band
Aug. 7, 1982
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

Where some Brent-era Playin's are basically just Space with a beat, this one retains that Jazz-as-Rock spirit that made the best versions from '72-'74 soar. Everyone jams with real intent, especially Brent, who seems to be challenging Jerry to explore new spaces the deeper they go. Immensely underrated.

The Spectrum

Country-fried picking on the main solo. A fun version of a fun song.

The Spectrum

Everything -- including Bob's slide work -- is working on this version. A true gem.
