A monster show, always underrated due to poor circulation. I swear the boys are all on mushrooms, and its a best friends birthday.

Never heard a better version. ummm..I mean NEVER. and trust me folks, I'm a country guy!!!! THIS IS PANDORA'S BOX!! If you listen to this twice in a row you will love all country influenced dead. even sugaree that follows almost flowed in, is country too. the true essence of Jerry Garcia. OOOPPs just realized I'm commenteing on the next song. All this jabberl, mounts up to : Listen to El Paso>Sugaree. and I'll meet you in heaven.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

This is obviously not the wrong one folks. Just strolling down the list on the way to this one how many Oct and Nov '73 versions did you see? More than enough. So I won't argue that this is the best version, It is PERFECT. Being there more than one perfect version of this combo of epic songs, this version deserves particular attention, out of the short and perfect (as bob would say) China Cat, then evolves a short but perfect (although it might not as high peaks as other versions) jam, and from that evolves a just as short but even MORE PERFECT version of I Know you Rider. which the only better versionS I have heard are only better because they are longer. In other words: THIS FUCKIN' ROCKS!!!!!!!! Not number 1 EVER, But undeniably just as good!!!!! I give it a vote up, Thank God for The Grateful Dead! They make life worth living!
