Amazing jamming. Very jazzy, some of vince's best work imo. wouldn't call it the best version but definately worth a listen.

Greatest Story Ever Told

Carrion crow nailed it. the mix on this SBD is just as good as it gets. There are too many amazing sounding SBD's to note but this one for me has always stood out. i know that 8-27-72 is one of the best shows, but this one is way overlooked in my opinion. There is a killer little jam in the middle of this song. The China Rider from this show is also my all time fav. and it features the longest dark star ever, and phil bombs throughout the show. this should be bumped up.

Heard this on the GDHour many years ago and it has been my no 1 fav by a very long shot ever since. I love the fast versions, and no other version that comes to mind is as bouncy, groovy and fun as this one. the recording is also one of the best sounding SBD's of any that i have ever heard.

Have to agree. this one was always my fav. hard to beat, the rythm devils drive the boys on this one. 11-8-70 is the best acoustic version, so sweet.
