Rosemont Horizon
Jerry using octave and delay pedals creating wonderfully glitchy textures, Phil and Brent playing nice support.

LLR around '89 can sometimes be a rushed, clunky mess. This is one of the exceptions- well-played, great solo. Out of a nice Foolish Heart.

Baltimore Civic Center
As wonderful a version as they ever did; the solo is very nice.

Tied with New Haven on the fifth for best Sugaree of May ‘77
Dancin' in the Streets
April 12, 1970
Fillmore West
Jerry’s on a projection course to the stars by the first 90 seconds of his solo, and from there the whole band transport this Motown tune to a whole other galaxy. Good pick, Phil.
Playin' In The Band

Cow Palace
almost Spanish Jam improvisation in the middle, full of tension and drama. Jerry sounds phenomenal, the mu-tron (i think it makes its debut here) is dialed right nd the distortion and delay pedals stacked created a really intense haunting effect.
Samson and Delilah

Cow Palace
One-of-one, a shining example of how '76 was so mellow, and how that energy could do wonders
