Perfect execution, akin to the Europe '72 version in terms of precision, Kreutzzman is all over the kit. Fiery Garcia licks reaching incredible peaks

Oh my, the band interplay is absolutely top notch and so mature. Ultimate boogie-gusto, Jerry givin' his all and singin' with soul. Great shit.

This blew my mind at the movies, the vocal jam at the end was insane on the big screen

One of the rare versions that also takes many listens to fully bloom, but once it does, it goes to that place

Myyyyy ohhh myyyy.. The second jam section blasts off. Garcia hitting wonderful melodic peaks, band playing at a unique tempo. Epic entry into vocals after the second jam. The reason there is mysticism in the dead scene, is because of stuff like this. Just sweeps you off your feet and takes you to that high transcendent musical space only the Dead have the key to unlock.

Music gets interesting when other forces are at play.. The Dead channel the energy of nature and shoot this one into the stratosphere. This one is transcendent. The Wharf Rat lightning strike (just before this tune), stands as one of the craziest confluence of forces in their career. The energy from that moment catapults them into one of the highest energy Sugar Mags ever played, Bob's aboriginal rap is neat too.

Follow up review: 5/14/17 I found this Eyes of the World to give me the same feeling 73-74 eyes to give me.. That feeling of swaying along with Garcia's silky leads and being on an incredible musical journey.. This Eyes had me on the edge of my seat the whole time... Incredible seamless transition into Dancin'.. This is top notch Grateful Dead. Oh, and attention to the big Phil Lesh fans.. This is one you'll want to check out. Phil is so present in the mix and it is so incredibly satisfying.. This might have to be my vote for my favorite show of '77. It's a hard competition given 77's rep.. But I digress. However, this Eyes->Dancin' combo took me to "that place". Epic
