Perfect execution, akin to the Europe '72 version in terms of precision, Kreutzzman is all over the kit. Fiery Garcia licks reaching incredible peaks

Oh my, the band interplay is absolutely top notch and so mature. Ultimate boogie-gusto, Jerry givin' his all and singin' with soul. Great shit.

This blew my mind at the movies, the vocal jam at the end was insane on the big screen

The "group-mind" certainly revs its engine pretty good here. This is worth the price of admission alone. Incredibly fierce Garcia licks.

This one ventures deep into a cosmic space; this is riveting music. The musical interplay in this Dark Star is advanced and incredibly mature. The "group-mind" improvisational level is top notch. I wouldn't say this one crosses many different soundscapes; this sounds more scientific in nature, instead of crossing many soundscapes, this picks one soundscape and explores every possibility within the one soundscape. It is a wonderful version, with incredible dark and mellow undertones.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Updated Review: Okay, I've been obsessed with this version, and have probably listened to it everyday for a good 2 months. Everytime I listen to it, I pick up incredible new things that I hadn't heard in a prior listening. Extra long transition that goes to diverse places within the transition itself. It has many moods unto itself. This is a complete "stream of consciousness" transition, akin to the Cornell Scarlet->Fire; to where the ideas are just flowing and weaving. Every band member has incredible contribution. This is my desert island China->Rider. No question.
Morning Dew
Dec. 2, 1973
Music Hall

Incredibly poignant version, You can hear the energy inside the Boston Music Hall on vernon's AUD. This AUD captures what would be a Wall of Sound Prototype, which is extra special. This Dew is epic and is far better than the mere 15 votes it has. I love Fall-Winter 1973. In my opinion this is better than 11/30 (two nights previous). This Dew was an epic way to close out the Boston Music Hall 3 night run.
