Perfect execution, akin to the Europe '72 version in terms of precision, Kreutzzman is all over the kit. Fiery Garcia licks reaching incredible peaks

Oh my, the band interplay is absolutely top notch and so mature. Ultimate boogie-gusto, Jerry givin' his all and singin' with soul. Great shit.

This blew my mind at the movies, the vocal jam at the end was insane on the big screen

Grate version. I'm enjoying the new Dave's Picks, tremendous show.

Ethereal and wonderfully rootsy, but very mature in execution of the song. Awesome Garcia solo. December 1971 perfection.
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
June 17, 1975
Winterland Arena

I just had to upvote this. It's one big long jam until you get to Franklin's. Keith on the Rhodes and his contributions are amazing. Jerry's playing Wolf in 75 here, just before he got his Travis Bean. This Slipknot is incredible. Weaves through many territories. Psychedelic

There is something about this one that just soars to new heights. This has been my favorite for god knows how long.. The raw emotion captured with this version just blows my mind. Garcia's licks sound like a wild ride through undeveloped central Oregon, weaving in notes that hold an incredible palpability. You can feel what Garcia is playing. As a guitar player, I am blown away by Garcia's exploration and to this day I am always left awestruck at how good he is at guitar (although he'd be quick to write himself off); the only version that comes close to this for me is 3/22/73 Utica, NY. I'd say they are yin/yang... But I digress.. This ending jam for me is particularly amazing when Garcia hits those low notes, those are incredibly tender notes, then he just soars reaching an emotional peak that brings tears to my eyes. This music means so much to me man
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Yes, yes, and more yes. I remember driving up the 395, a joint in my mouth, and this version blaring, being awestruck by Jerry's precision. Great version. I just love 1974 China -> Riders.
