Agree 100% Benny, this seems like the ideal way for this tune to be played. I really like the 2/24/74 version, but it seems an entirely different experience. To my ears, this feels more true to the essence of the song.

I love this! The transition in really sounds perfectly spontaneous. There is a lot of unspent Dark Star energy, especially in the first half. The playing is absolutely stellar all around even as the tempo remains breakneck, and the vocals shine as well. So wonderful!
